Powers —

Skills: Genius-level intellect, science and engineering skills.
Superpowers:

Spider physiology, which grants him the powers of
  • Wall-crawling
  • Superstrength which allows him to lift several tons
  • Super speed, making him faster than any unenhanced human or pig, but not nearly enough to qualify as a speedster
  • Superhuman stamina
  • Superhuman agility
  • Superhuman equilibrium
  • Superhuman reflexes
  • Spider-Sense, a precognitive power that warns him of danger to himself shortly before it happens.
Additionally, due to being a cartoon pig, he also has cartoon physiology which grants him the powers of
  • Superhuman durability. Unlike the human Spider-Man, this doesn't make him more resistant to injury, but more resilient. He can be squashed, stretched, tossed through walls, and come out of it without any permanent injury. Which isn't to say it doesn't hurt, but not as much as it would anyone else, including other Spider-People
  •  The ability to ignore the laws of physics and slightly alter reality to a degree as long as it's in service to a joke. Generally limited to things like pulling props out of nowhere, using umbrellas as parachutes, walking over a cliff without immediately falling, altering the functions of technology by relabeling them, and other basic Looney Tunes-esque gags.
Limitations: While it is hard to permanently hurt him, he can be knocked unconscious, tied up, drugged,  or otherwise inconvenienced. His spider-sense isn't perfect and weakens with fatigue.
Personality —
Please EITHER (1) Summarize your character's personality — including motivations, behaviors, and psychology — in 300-600 words OR (2) Respond to the questions below.

  • What were your character's most formative experiences?:
  • Getting bitten by a radioactive May Porker. This turned him from a small spider into a superpowered pig, and was also what led to him becoming a superhero in the first place. In addition. his lack of an Uncle Ben is what set him apart from many other Spider-Men,  as he lacked the driving force that caused his counterparts sense of all-consuming responsibility.
  • Encountering the other Spider-Totems and teaming up with them to  rescue the multiverse on multiple occasions. This would lead to him getting a bit of a swelled ego.
  • When facing near defeat by his villains after they were mind-controlled by the Ringmaster, he relearned that his greatest strength compared to other Spideys was his sheer wackiness.
  • Which eventually led to him annoying the crap out of his fellow heroes. AN attack by Kang that was hijacked by Mojo led to at least a little bit of deflation of his ego and acknowledgement that he'd been a jerk.

  • What values, morals, and/or philosophies does your character live by, and how are those beliefs demonstrated? What happens when they have to compromise what they believe in?
  • Like many Spider-People, Peter lives by the code of "With great power comes great responsibility", though unlike most of them this is actually a relatively recent lesson. Though he did live by it for most of his career as Spider-Ham, doing his best to help people with his powers, the actual phrase was taught to him by Peter Parker of Earth 616. He takes responsibility for when he messes up, and does his best to fix his mistakes
  • The idea that there's nothing more powerful than a joke. Things go wrong for him, life gets hard, and the best way to deal with that is get silly. Create some levity and go a little crazy.

  • What is your character afraid of? How does avoiding or preventing these fears influence their actions and decisions?
  • On some level he fears that nobody cares about him. That they just put up with him for the occasions that he's useful. That he's so annoying that there isn't any way that anyone actually likes him. It's led to him warping himself with the power of the Bee-yonder just so he can try to find a place he fits in. He's a little less afraid of that now, but the feeling is still in the background at times.
  • There's also a general fear of failure. That at some point he'll screw up so bad he won't be able to fix it.

  • What goals does your character have right now? What do they want, and how do they go about getting it?
  • Be a nuisance to supervillains everywhere. Be responsible, but remember that doesn't mean you can't be silly about it. Be a good photographer is also an important goal, simply because that's how he pays his bills. He's also trying to keep from being such a jerk to his friends that they go out of their way to avoid him again. That's done by making sure he remembers he can't do everything on his own, and that his friends are just as good heroes as he is is, if not sometimes better.
Gameplay —
Areas of Interest / Brainstorming:
Mostly the plan is for him to hang around the other Spideys, clown around, goof off. That and bring a bit of pure cartoonish silliness to the world.

I'm waffling on whether or not to have him join the guilds. On the one hand, being all official about things isn't something most version of Peter do. On the other, he's a cartoon pig. He's not really going to have the option for a secret identity. I suppose I'll see how things go once he's in.
